Thanksgiving Prayer
I always thank my God,
He heals where I am flawed;
When in the midst of strife,
For a new lease on life.
I thank for the good will,
That He likes to instill;
With each day as I start,
Down deep within my heart.
And it seems at all times,
My heart rings out the chimes;
Knowing what He has done,
With giving us His Son.
All because of His grace,
With mercy to embrace;
Not only when we are sad,
But also while glad.
To my God I give praise,
With my hands that I raise;
For the wealth in all things,
And success that it brings.
Knowing that He provides,
All because He abides;
Deep within my soul,
Remaining in control.
