The Eternal Way You created everything around us
the sun the earth and sea
You went even further Lord
when You created me
From the dust of the earth
that You had gathered in Your hand
You took it and You molded it
into the form of modern man
Your breathe alone You used
to make man a living soul
And with the blood You shed
You gave us the chance to be made whole
You could have called out to Your Father
to send His angels to take You down
Instead You carried Your own cross
and for us, thorns became Your crown
Today we take for granted
the blood You shed on that day
The day You gave Your own life
to show us the eternal way
