Listen To The Rain








Sad is the heart . . .
that yearns for yesterday and fears tomorrow.


Sad is the heart . . .
that questions in pain and prays in faith.


Sad is the heart . . .
that prays for acceptance of the path set before it.


Sad is the heart . . .
that in weakness searches for strength within.


Sad is the heart . . .
of the one tonight that pens these words.


So sad the heart . . .
