A Mutual Love

Jesus Christ has loved you,
As the Father loves Him;
It is love that is true,
That is joyful not grim.

Keep living in His love,
His commandments obey;
As He watches above,
So you not go astray.

And Jesus had obeyed,
While here on this earth;
So look at how He paid,
To prove His total worth.

Showing His worthiness,
In being called the Son;
Living in righteousness,
When all was said and done.

Be as joyful as He,
Your joy will be complete,
For all that you will see,
As one of the elite.

You are His chosen fruit,
And ripened on His vine;
Fertile soil to root,
To produce the best wine.
