THE DEALER
When I needed you, you were never there for me
Some things money can't deal out, for they're free
A soul bound touch, love filled glance and a smile
Never offered though needed all the while
And when A heart felt moment was longed for from you
You were spread too thin between quite a few
And when a tear fell from a sad and weary eye
For other women you were always on stand by
Never a moment to pause with any concern
For what caused tears that made my cheek burn
Shuffling the deck, picking out a new card
While my pain you inflicted you would just disregard
Continuing a game that wasn't quite free
For in the end you lost the heart of me
