Prior Rights
We know what the laws say,
For living by each day;
With those under the law,
So that they will not fall.
No one can say a thing,
From judgment they will bring;
No appeal could be sought,
To what Moses had taught.
Now a revelation,
For giving salvation;
Of righteousness of God,
Even though we are flawed.
Through faith in Jesus Christ,
Because He was sacrificed;
To all those who share hope,
Will have faith for to cope.
No need to be afraid,
For the price that Christ paid;
Will acquit you in court,
Even though you fall short.
So the sins from the past,
Thrown out since God has cast;
Ensuring to be blessed,
And free after confessed.
