Take Your Place
At one time you were dead,
For your failures and sin;
And immorally fed,
To fulfill lusts within.
As you followed the prince,
That ruled over the earth;
And worshiping him since,
All pleasure it was worth.
Refusing to obey,
God and all of His rules,
Leads you to go astray,
Like many other fools.
It is not knowing how,
You can just close your eyes;
Living the here and now,
Led by a pack of lies.
But it is not too late,
To change your way of life;
Christ will be at the gate,
To get rid of your strife.
Still time to take your place,
To partake at the feast;
Being blessed by His grace,
After your sins have ceased.
