The only thing in life was baseball
Basketball
football
and swimming
I was eight when I got my first bike
It was called a World
Big handlebars
Brakes that often did not work
A bike light in front
A fold up carrier in back
It held two
I could go down hills with no hands
Half of my day was getting pant legs
Caught in the chains
I remember the day the chain broke
The dog that charged took out 23 spokes
My friend was on the handlebars
He flew through the air halfway to mars
Then I discovered girls
One day I was riding down this steep hill
And yes, no hands showing off
The car in front of me stopped
I broke the record for high diving
I also broke the bike and several bones
Then we built one of those boyscout things on wheels
Somewhat like a skateboard only you lay on it
I was holding on for dear life
When all four wheels collapsed
Thinking about it I can feel the pain
Then I was a teenager
We bought this real hydroplane
Eleven foot went 70 knots
A Minature Ms.Wahoo of the unlimited
I was breaking the record when
It went airborne 360 degrees
Woke up ten minutes later with vertigo condition
My girlfriend, my wife today
Daddy had these motorbikes
She said, "Just humor him!"
Pretend like you have ridden one
So I sat on the bike razzed the motor
Next thing I knew it walked between my legs
The throttle was open and I flew down the stairs
On one wheel I was superman
There was a car I dropped throttle
I heard her brother say, "Wow he is good!"
As I flew over the car landed in the bushes
Today they wear pads, helmets and things
I just talk with this strange stutter
Now she wants to go skydiving?
She is out of her mind!
