BRINGER OF THE DAWN

Slumber on ocean beds of lazuline
Cascade down mountains of golden glass
Caressed by the hands of the sapphire queen
Kneel on a surface of velvet blue grass.

Embraced by this stellar vision of light
Weathered by sun to which you are drawn
Morning star symbol ascending so bright
Welcome the ancient bringer of the dawn.

Fine gossamer threads of pure energy
Follow the path of awakening sun
The language of light and geometry
Nourish the essence of all creation.

Sacred infusions cradle Mother Earth
Honoring life from the moment of birth.

Author's Notes

This poem is about the morning star Venus
that always welcomes the dawn
I envision an indigo princess
grasping this golden sphere
and placing it in the arms of heaven
allowing the warmth of light
to nourish all life in the universe.
