I have this small jar
I empty my pockets of change
In a couple months I had
twenty two dollars
Now I am thinking
Just pennies
What if for a year
Every penny went in a jar
I find a couple a week on the ground
I e-mailed all my friends
Have them start a penny jar
Next year we all donate
To feed the poor in need
