Please bid me not Stay
We've laughed in the sunshine, cried in the rain carried our
love on Butterfly Wings, life's storms could not
Sway us, our hearts tethered with unbreakable
Chains, my strength now abaited my days hold
But pain, My heart is fixed on heavenly things
My love please I ask you, bid me not stay
Seemed we had the world at our feet, true or
Not, t'was a beautiful dream, yet silently time
Was slipping away, the day soon approaches
For my journey grows near, I hear a Heavenly
Voice, our father is calling, please bid me not
Stay, in this prison of clay
Mortal life, is but a vapor, a rehearsal for
Always, It is hear we each chose, where we'll
live eternity, we've held hands with Jesus
Each step of the way, I ask you grieve not long
When my soul takes flight, we will be reunited
Forever, in the twinkling of an eye.
