 The Messenger

Dispatched from far away a place
Where no map plots but traced is grace
Where wings pure white upon a body
Would spread and fly to meet somebody

Mission to ease bring peace to one
Whose tears would cool the red hot Sun
That fell and fall yet still today
For loss still lived of yesterdays

She'd lose a child and husband too
Mother and father to name a few
As storm would come and take away
All that she holds in heart today

No cause to rise, no cause to love
For them she mourns and just thinks of
Her days bitter as she does fade
Into each night remorse enslaved

Her home not home as feet now walk
Upon debris destruction mocks
Life once known, below a roof
On ground she tours as living proof

This storm came and left it's wake
Broken her soul she wish God take
Sitting alone she looks to sky
Why, dear God, not me she cries

Alone no sense of urgency
Brings today her answered needs
To be again with those she loves
To be again with them above

The messenger whose wings now wrap
A soul distressed as thunder claps
Whispers to ear now follow me
For wings have you and destiny

sad angel Pictures, Images and Photos
