 Plea The Sea

Photobucket

Twilight serenity wast adjoining
And star lightest light quenched
Behind mounts was moaning
When deemed I, plea the sea I might

Calm the skies at this hour
Stars out of womb dim arouse
Look they down to thoust

Calm thy waves art
No wave durst to bark
Calm horizon thine tho' is
See I aught
Nor wave e'er more sought

Look I thro' wideness endless
Look I thro' deepness bottomless
Search I for harte thine
For thee to see thro' mine

Beg I thou sea fine
Endeavor, I plea
Wave prevail arouse, enrage it
To swim across ye beseech it
I shall swim wi' it
It shalt take to him me

Plea I ye sea marshy
Call out, tempest, blast thou invite
O'er thee to growl
Tempest shall take me
as I'm no more than a fowl

If ye sea opulent
From harte thy covet e'er
Then wit thee  Aegir's beauty
What's harte mine duty.
