Princess, " LEIA "
Not long ago, in a galaxy far, far away
LEIA, princess, would find her way
Into the heart of one Dianne
Making this pair, the perfect plan
Love extreme and patience too
Would be displayed on cheeks of two
Girls bonding for many years
Although stair steps, LEIA would fear
She'd follow mom where she would go
Even at times when she'd say no
Looking for pats upon her head
From early morning till time for bed
Nudge she would mother knowing
It's still early where are you going
I like it here upon your lap
Keep working while I take a nap
That running on the lawn has made
Tired somewhat but she would save
One more run where cottage days
Are still pictured until this day
Although of age we wont forget
The best of times we had and bet
You won't forget what I meant to
You I loved this also too
Be not sad but keep for me
Inside your heart and memory
A place where once we did abide
In life with you, so do not cry
We'll wait for you from where we sit
At Pearly gates where you will lift
Me again Princess LEIA
Where kisses mine that day I'll pay ya
