I await now the sunlight to bathe me in goodness
and awaken the good man inside
the years that have passed were very good teachers
but darkness be the truth of my life.
Always inside me the strength born of wise men
but lost, with nowhere to go
looking and hoping for the right path to walk down
and something my life had to know.
Now the darkness has gone and I wait for the sunlight
there is so much I still have to see
knowing that goodness and hope be the true force within me
I'm now ready for whom I'm to be!!!
