Giving God First Place
Keep your mind on things above,
That is where you receive love;
Focus on the Christ up on high,
In Heaven above the sky.
You died and life is hidden,
From things that are forbidden;
So no thoughts of earthly things,
On the pleasure that it brings.
For Jesus Christ is your life,
Not toils of earthly strife;
And when He appears then you,
Will be in His glory too.
Put to death all of the lust,
Passion and greed that you trust;
Perverted sexual sin,
That are lighting fires within.
Because these sins anger God,
That is making you a fraud;
You act as though you obey,
But your thoughts have gone astray.
Keep giving to God first place,
And He will be giving grace;
Having a new life to live,
Loving you nuff to forgive.
