The Chosen through Christ
Praise the Father of our Lord,
Jesus Christ who we have adored;
For through Jesus we have been blessed,
Giving us the peace and the rest.
Before creation of the world,
His plan started to be unfurled;
In choosing through His only Son,
Each of us as a holy one.
Because of love He was set,
To adopt us without regret;
As something that he freely chose,
For the fate He already knows.
For His kindness He sent His Son,
To ensure that the job got done;
Knowing praise and glory given,
By all the angels in Heaven.
More of an impact than the flood,
With the shedding of all the blood;
But setting us free from all sin,
And to be purified within.
God forgives all our failures,
Pardoning from bad behaviors;
Giving us wisdom and insight,
In preparation for the light.
