IN The Air Tonite

There's something in the air around the corner
It's very old not a new found foreigner.
Something that has a name that goes way back
something that others breathe when they lack.

There's something in the air tonite
a feeling that somethings not quite right.
It's odd to have  a feeling clear
in my home it's oh so near.

There's something in the air I think
It's there in the corner of my eye when I blink.
Can't quite put my finger on it
But also can't seem to forget.

There's something in the air that I breathe
A leeriness to where this road leads.
To a place not safe to travel alone
To a place that is not of my own.

There's something in the air you see
and I know it's not only in me.
somehow it's danger I do believe
there's something in the air as I bleed.
