"Doc" has brought us this wonderful poem to evoke thought amongst Christians on their every day living calling all Christians to follow Jesus down the path he himself walked. "Along The Lane" brings to attention the compassion Jesus wishes all Christians to have, reminding them of things they can be doing in their lives for others struggling through life's difficulties. It also brings to thought Jesus's works that he has entrusted his followers to carry forth with in his name. This poem is based upon Christian values but holds great meaning for all readers who find the human condition important and compassion a beautiful attribute for all men.
