Jell-O
Standing as firm and unmoving as Jell-O;
Wobbling with the slightest disturbance.
Moving like a hula dancer, shaking hard;
But the foundation of love is always stable.
Like Stonehenge, still standing timeless;
Witness to a long ago system of beliefs.
I still stand tall, no matter the jiggling edifice;
As the foundation is firmly planted in love.
My mind stands open to reason and logic;
My soul shouts from the foundation of love.
Never mind the waffling you might see in me;
Love grounds me, standing as firm as Jell-O.
