Being as Christ
If Christ is within you,
Then you need to be true;
Letting His love to start,
With ruling in your heart.
But your bodies are dead,
From the sin it was fed;
By your ears and your eyes,
Through deceit and the lies.
But letting Christ arrive,
Keeps your spirit alive;
As approval from God,
When you honor and laud.
Then who brought Jesus back,
Possesses what you lack;
Those mortal bodies give,
Another chance to live.
For His Spirit within,
Can cleanse away the sin;
Which the body will fail,
As it gets old and frail.
Rid the corrupt nature,
To be a new creature;
So death will have no sting,
If to the cross you cling.
