The one kiss... I miss

I am still waiting as always I have been
for I have found nothing that can replace who you are
though I've travelled and seen much of our earth's great beauty
I have seen nothing that compares with you… by far.
Your smile was that of daybreak,
with the sun already warm in the sky…
your touch was the softest ever I'd known
your kiss was the sweetest kiss… goodbye.
We had fun… so much great fun together
then fate played a part and love died
there was pain, there was lust, there was anger…
there were tears that both of us cried.
Now, though the years have been … many
I have still found nothing that compares with your kiss
though I've travelled and seen much of our earth's great beauty
yours kiss is the one kiss… I miss.
