Hot or Cold
To those who are faithful and true,
Think of what God has done for you;
He has shown you a new pathway,
Leading you not to go astray.
But He still knows what you have done,
Especially after His Son;
Was sent to die for our sin,
With a chance to cleanse us within.
So you are neither cold nor hot,
For doing things that you should not;
Showing no remorse or no guilt,
That ought to make a flower wilt.
But you are neither hot nor cold,
Since you are so rude and so bold;
For without showing any shame,
That is burning the passion flame.
Because of burning desire,
For the pleasure you acquire;
Having much material wealth,
Implies more than spiritual health.
Let the person who has the ears,
Listen to the upcoming fears;
What His Spirit will say to you,
When life on this earth will be through.
