After Salvation
When I encouraged you,
It was no scam or scheme;
Nor would never construe,
As a deceptive dream.
Rather facts with values,
Proclaimed to you instead;
In spreading the Good News,
Being raised from the dead.
The Lord has put His trust,
When we have passed the test;
By resisting all lust,
And doing our best.
Please God before others,
Who tests our motives;
After which your brothers,
Giving of incentives.
I am seeking no praise,
For things that I have done,
As the end of my days,
On earth seeing the Son.
So when I see the Lord,
A smile on His face;
That will be my reward,
When He has shed His grace.
