Brotherly LoveYou heard the message from the start, What I say comes from the heart; In loving one another, Just like sister and brother. Not like Cain who was wild, And acted like a child; Then he murdered his brother, No keeper for another. All because of greed and hate, Duty carried too much weight; To be honest and upright, Rather doing out of spite. We have passed from death to life, Although in the midst of strife; All because the world hates you, Since your heart is shining true. For we are the receivers, With loving all believers; And new life through salvation, From a regeneration. Since Christ gave us more than love, Also with a chance thereof; Through His insight and wisdom, To join Him in His Kingdom. Copyright © 2009 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
