Miracle-Working Power

I recall to my mind,
A hope that I can find;
When things are down and out,
That others just may doubt.

The reason I can find,
Hope will stay on my mind;
Never growing a frown,
God will not let me down.

His faithfulness is great,
And am willing to wait;
Compassion never ends,
For His power transcends.

All that my soul can say,
As I wake up each day;
God is my lot in life,
Assisting through the strife.

That is why I can cope,
In the Lord I have hope;
Those who wait He is near,
Taking away the fear.

To anyone who seeks,
Sound out a prayer that speaks;
Gravity from the heart,
For the Lord to impart.
