Come to HimI give praise to the Father, Lord of Heaven and earth; As well as our Brother, Who was given human birth. He has hidden many things, From intelligent people; Not revealed even to kings, Or preachers in the temple. Rather to little children, Who the Father is well pleased; Was told more than mortal men, With minds sinfully diseased. For the Father knows the Son, To whom He has given whole; And is the Anointed One, While on earth with a goal. The Son will only reveal, To those who want to know Him; All others He will conceal, Whose life has been dark and grim. Those tired with heavy loads, Also the weak and weary; Follow Christ on the paved roads, Drying eyes that are teary. Copyright © 2009 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
