A Bond of Love

I extol thee O Lord,
Giving praise and honor;
Who is loved and adored,
My Heavenly Father.

With You I never doubt,
Of my sin You acquit;
For you have pulled me out,
Of the fiery pit.

I have made You my choice,
Over the darkened foes;
To whom will not rejoice,
Since You stopped all my woes.

When I cried out to You,
In helping when I hurt;
Through what I say and do,
Your healing gives comfort.

You called me back to life,
Rescuing from the grave;
Blocking me from the strife,
And sin that you forgave.

For I feel like dancing,
Since you chased away fear;
My life is enhancing,
Knowing that you are near.
