Keeping Goals in SightEven though I am free, I have to watch and see; Not to become a slave, That keeps me in my grave. For it keeps someone weak, In faith and feeling bleak; When one is raising doubt, What life is all about. But I write for the sake, So others are awake; With the Good News to share, For their lives to repair. I keep my goal in sight, As I run toward the light; For running makes me wise, As I reach for the prize. So I will run the race, So I can stay in His grace; Since I know I can win, Against the evil sin. So I run with a goal, To save my very soul; From the bondage of hell, So Heaven I can dwell.
