Sacrifice Riches
You know where Jesus Christ stands,
And what His Father commands;
Never kill and never steal,
Never have a lying spiel.
Not a one of us is good,
And doing just as we should;
No one is good except God,
With each one of us a fraud.
We are surrounded with things,
With so much joy that it brings;
But Christ has already told,
Treasure waits if all is sold.
Sell all you have here on earth,
To the poor give its full worth;
Once that all is sacrificed,
Then you can go follow Christ.
No way through the eye of a pin,
Being corrupted by sin;
Nor with entering Heaven,
Till you have been forgiven.
If impossible for men,
You must go through the Lord then;
Through God all is possible,
Do what you are unable.
