Where My Heart Belongs
valentines day the day devoted to our love the search for love to others but how can i devote one day to all the days i feel my love grow for you each day i feel the growth the wonder of where can it all fit within me on this day of love the world now knows where my heart belongs it fills the vacant void that once lived there the emptiness once felt the fear it expands my heart opening doors that had been chained shut for years its taught me to share my world to let another heart beat with mine forever on this day of love the world now knows where my heart belongs valentines day isnt just one day anymore its a lifetime of comittment for two one i have chosen to open doors wide gladly let the sunshine enter within never to live the lonely life the sad life not afraid of pain and hurt again on this day of love the world now knows where my heart belongs not the running away from shadows of unknown emotions lurking inside now to live with all emotions learning what i had denied myself to feel sharing a love that consumes the heart with anothers who feels the same on this day of love the world now knows where my heart belongs this though is my day to say thank you for letting me back inside my shelter for teaching me what love is to laugh again not to be afraid of it again just enjoy mostly its to let you know just how happy that love has made me and how so safe on this day of love the world now knows where my heart belongs Vote for this poem
