Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson
Blissful Serenity
As I stand upon the icy crest of the purple mountain top
and look upon the blissful beauty of God's wondrous creation
I become overwhelmed and begin to praise His wonderful name.
Blessed serenity fills my anxious heart and wondrous joy
fills my trembling soul as I gaze upon the glorious beauty
of the deep green pines and the lovely yellow wild flowers
upon the hills below that were created by His own hand.
As I look upon the crystal blue waters of the lazily flowing
river below awakens my sleeping mind to God's artistry.
When I look at the tapestry of all that He has painted upon
the blank canvas of the earth I marvel at the majesty of
it all and bow my head in humble worship to the wonderful
and supreme Creator of it all.
