What is faith?
Some would say that it is believing only what one can
see, feel, touch or taste.
But I say nay this is not what faith is all about.
For faith is:
The supernatural power that sustains us through life.
It is the delicious fruit of the Spirit that satisfies
our spiritual hunger.
Faith is the clear looking glass into Heaven that gives
us unshakable hope,and is the golden key to answered prayer.
It is believing without seeing with human eyes,the seeing
with the eyes of the spirit the invisible things of God.
It is hearing God's voice with the ears of an open heart.
Faith is knowing things that are not of hearing,seeing,
or touching with our human senses.
It is the firm foundation of salvation,and the song of
the soul that leads us down the road of righteousness.
It is our strength when we are not strong,and is our weapon
against the attacks of Satan,and the guiding light of our
testimony to the world.
Faith is the assurance of our success in Christ,an
indispensable element in our lives,and our fundamental
duty to our loving God.
It is united with love to make us serve Christ and His church.
And it is by faith that we are justified,sanctified and cleansed
in the holy blood of Christ.
