Guidelines for Serving Christ
You are a good servant of Christ,
If you learned to be sacrificed;
And remembering to be kind,
By keeping your brothers in mind.
Remember your brothers and sisters,
Make all of you good enlisters;
How many others are adored,
By bringing them onto the Lord.
Nourishing by Word to show trust,
Instead of all the earthly lust;
Brings you closer to what is taught,
Which is helping your train of thought.
Train in living a godly life,
And it helps to cope through the strife;
Reject profane and old wives' tales,
Talk normally heard from jails.
Godly living has the promise,
Not just on the present basis;
But also the world to follow,
To travel the straight and narrow.
We work hard and struggle to live,
But God is good and will forgive;
Remembering what the words teach,
And then practicing what we preach.
