The Suddenness of Return
You do not need anyone,
For writing unto you;
About the time of the Son,
Exactly when He is due.
You know very well the day,
And the hour of the Lord;
No computer can display,
When the earth is to be cured.
Just like a thief in the night,
Destruction suddenly hits;
And as you will see His might,
Life as you know it now quits.
There will be of no escape,
As if you feel labor pains;
And fire makes all lose shape,
As flowing blood leaves red stains.
Do not live within the dark,
So that day does not surprise;
Like the thief would to embark,
And flashes before your eyes.
Whether awake or asleep,
We must live in Jesus Christ;
And in our hearts to keep,
Alert not to be enticed.
