how can we be forgiven if we cannot forgive

how can we be forgiven if we cannot forgive:
we must learn to forgive--if with serenity we want to live:

forgiveness will free you from your pain:
forgiveness will wash away the layers af shame:

when we get hurt by another--the scar remains etched in our life:
but through heartfelt forgiveness we free from ourselves the poisonous hurt and strife:

forgiving our ownself:
can become our greatest wealth:

we keep so much hurt and pain deep--deep-hidden within:
when we carry so much heavy baggage, the addictions win:

to thine own self be true:
trust with all your heart--for god and a higher power will see you through:

miracles happen every single day:
life dont just happen--come what may:

we meet certain people at certain times in our life:
that miraculously help us with our deep hurt pain and strife:

as you now climb the mountain in front of you that is so enormous and grand:
before you move forward--first you have to be positive when you stand:

inch forward a baby step at a time:
firmly--determinely--draw in the sand a line:

drawing a line in the sand:
means you are ready to tackle that mountain that is so grand:

move forward at your own pace:
it dont matter how high you climb--if you fall you gotta start again in the race:

all the greatest dreams of your life you will wildly achieve:
if you only simply forgive yourself--and in you just believe...
