To soar to seek
embrace the sky
Alas no wings have I
Her walk so gentle
and yet aloft
As a bird on it's maiden flight
Her voice so soft
A mere whisper in the night
No more beautiful woman
I must say
Than she as beautiful
coming towards
As the day she went on her way
Revision from Immemorial for my lovely niece Staci
I am told this is being made into a Hawaiian song
Her motor home hit head on in 2002 at the age of 34
died instantly her Mom, daughter and son in the car
following
Praying Mantis
For sister Jeri who loved Lillie's
In my garden spring awaits
Behind my garden gates
A Black Rose harbored in thorns
An Angel in heaven I must mourne
I will plant a Midnight strain
That of the Trumpet Lilly
Aphids, White-flies, grubs beware
For the Praying Mantis lingers there
I leave two Angels now in heaven
Mom, loving Jesus, and now Jeri in your care
In Memory Fern Erma Mom
Trillions of stars are painting the skies
Mere brushes entertaining the moon above
For beauty found in an Angel's eyes
Never dimming passion of Eternal love
God saith: Forget her as love unbourne
For in your un-mirrored heart lays a fool
This Especial Star for whom you now mourne
Has fallen from the skies in dazzling hue
To my Earth I take this star in glowing flame
I leave behind others in the galaxies to take her space
Thyne eyes, thyne motion, to hear thy name
Forever in my heart a void no one can replace
Poem from my book of poems, "Womb of the Same Mother".
Mom died young at fifty four in the arms of Jesus
