`TAKE` OR `TAKEN`






`TAKE` OR `TAKEN`







Which one applies to you?
Are you `taken` for granted
Or maybe it`s you
That `takes` someone for granted.



Once `taken` for granted
You become an after thought
You`re always thought of
As `a good old sport`.



It`s you that can wait
You`re the one that won`t mind
`Cause you won`t complain
You`re the quiet, patient kind.



`Oh! They will do that`
I have often heard it said
Others feelings I know
Going right over their head.



Let`s not use and abuse
We must ask and be polite
Then our wish will be granted
And we won`t have to be contrite.
