Guidelines to Serve Christ
You are a servant of Christ,
And willing to be sacrificed;
When pointing things out to others,
Who have been your Christian brothers.
While listening and have heard,
Then you are nourished by His Word;
The excellent teaching as taught,
Through the price that it had been bought.
Refuse fables and old wives tales,
And the foul language it details;
Gossip is merely false small talk,
Being ungodly women squawk.
Exercise in a godliness,
That the Lord ensures blessedness;
Body exercise helps a bit,
But best as spiritually fit.
Godly living has the promise,
With hope to keep your life joyous;
Not just for now but the future,
Into the eternal venture.
I know that we struggle to live,
But remember God will forgive;
And helping us get through the strife,
As we prepare for the next life.
