 Symphony No. 5
put me in a green lake
glassy and sharp
move me this way
and that
bed me on feathers
blanket me
wrap me in exquisite puddles
of bright white light
take away my swimming arms
get rid of them
dispose of them harshly
then give them back
tease me with your melody
cut me then heal me
take me to the edge
you nasty little tease
have fun with me
use me as your clay
shape me as you wish
make art from me
show my filling to those who eat
describe me to them
tell them that I love
tell them that I hate
tell them I am splashed in paradox
and tell them I am fine with that
