Have you ever felt disheartened
In any shape or form?

Have you ever wondered
If you could brave the storm?



Have you ever felt dejected
By words that someone said?

Have you ever walked a path
That angels fear to tread?



Have you ever felt ignored
And left out in the cold?

Have you ever felt cut off
And no one there to hold?



Have you ever had someone
To whom you gave your heart?

Have you ever felt your life drain
As they tore your heart apart?



Have you ever been the one
Who makes the first move?

Have you ever done things
Hoping they`d approve?



If you have, then welcome to the world
That`s what life is all about,
There is no easy path to follow
Of that there is no doubt.
