Earthly Proclamation
Hear ye Heaven and I will speak,
Of the things that I truly do seek;
Hear what I utter from my tongue,
To all the earth they have been flung.
Let my doctrine come down like rain,
Soaking into every brain;
As my words are dripping as dew,
Seen by all knowing to be true.
Like the gentle rain on the grass,
Read by all who are walking pass;
Or as the showers on green plants,
Heeded by anyone who rants.
I cannot let it be ignored,
Proclaiming the name of the Lord;
Giving God greatness He merits,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
He is a rock and salvation,
Within my faith a foundation;
Because I know that I can trust,
Knowing that He is fair and just.
I proceed to honor and laud,
Knowing He is a faithful God;
And I know He will always be,
Upright without iniquity.
