Being Generous
One spends freely yet grows wealthy,
As he remains strong and healthy;
As another owes and is poor,
Deathly sick and finding no cure.
As one is always generous,
And has been very prosperous;
Because he satisfies others,
Treating them just like his brothers.
Then there is another will hoard,
Never saying where it is all stored;
As he hears that others do curse,
With no friends in the universe.
Whoever does seek for good will,
His storage shall completely fill;
When allowing God to abide,
Who will be able to provide.
But if you search for evil things,
All the curses you find it brings;
Will cause you to become a slave,
Never to rise up from the grave.
For righteous people bear much fruit,
Because their faith has a deep root;
But wicked men are no winners,
Since they will be always sinners.
