as gentle as a lamb with a temper of a lion

my dad henry- he was as gentle as a lamb:
my dad was such a great man:

my old dad you know he was pretty nice:
but no one is perfect and my dad he did have one vice:

my dad he really was so nice until he got mad:
then stand back because his temper was pretty bad:

when my dad henry--his temper did flare:
stand clear and beware:

dads temper it was wild like a tornado:
as great as an eruption from a volcano:

when dads temper flared he just had no fear:
he would even attach himself if he looked in the mirror:

dad he just could not be wronged:
he would not back down from no one-- he put them where they belonged:

as ferocious as my dear old dad henry could be:
he was as gentle as a lamb-so loving and care free:
