The Word of God
I would never reject,
Something that is perfect;
As what I have been taught,
Each word the Lord has thought.
I let Him have control,
As to renew my soul;
Feeling noble and wise,
From blessings in His eyes.
I recite with my voice,
His laws make me rejoice;
Such a radiant glow,
That my twinkling eyes show.
God taught to be mature,
Through fear He made me pure;
To respect and obey,
Never going astray.
So it is building hope,
To be able to cope;
With hardships of this life,
That causes so much strife.
May the words from my heart.
Can be heard to impart;
Make you a believer,
Who is my redeemer.
