it dont matter how cold i feel:
when my little girl hugs me it feels so real:
even when other things will hurt me:
when my little girl hugs me it feels so free:
she says daddy am i being good today:
i look at her then with my eyes i love you i say:
in my life my world turned cold:
another sad story in a song could be told:
but the sunshine in my life each day:
is my little girl loving her daddy in every way:
when our eyes meet not a word is said:
i love you from our mind is read:
there is nothing in the world more real:
than the love from a child that a daddy feels:
the love of a child can heal the deepest pain:
theres no love that can compare or be the same:
even though your world is cold outside:
with a childs love theres nothing to hide:
a childs eyes are sweet and true:
theres nothing more special than a child loving you:
