peace and quiet

im thankful to just sit and watch the swaying trees:
and feel the cool refreshing breeze:

i sit and listen to my children talk and play:
and all the things they talk about and say:

my little dog is here at my side waiting for affection:
to her i am number one:

life can be so hectic and fast:
you gotta slow down the pace and let the peaceful times last:

its good to once in awhile to be bored:
peace and quiet we all can afford:
