My Treasure

Joyous peace captivates my soul
Once I shut my chamber door
Your presence I need to console
Comforted yet I yearn for more
Even in slumber Lord I implore

Bountiful grace made me speechless
Utter shame for my foolishness
Along with blinding disbeliefs
Yet truth proclaimed Your greatness
All doubts and fear were vanquished

Not in worldly things that perish
All we need is freedom from stress
Defuse much longing for riches
Else you end up beaten, depressed
Love sustains our heart's desire
A treasure I'll carry when I expire.
