Salvation Army of God
God is angry every day,
For all of us have gone astray;
Since there is no justice on earth,
Only the merriment and mirth.
He sees no one to render aid,
Either as too proud or afraid;
As well as not to intercede,
Because of all the lust and greed.
But God makes sure the war is won,
With the salvation through His Son;
Whose His own righteousness supports,
And to stand by us in the courts.
God wears suits of vengeance,
To find those not in adherence;
Because they have strayed from the path,
And will not be spared from the wrath.
The ones who truly do abide,
To Heaven will not be denied;
And be given a uniform,
In wearing for the battle storm.
Righteousness like suits of armor,
That strengthens faith making firmer;
And a helmet made for the head.
From the salvation that Christ bled.
