Following an Example
The end of all things is near,
When there will be some who fear;
For all the things they had doubt,
Will then be coming about.
The end of things is at hand,
Up to God at His command;
When He will then close the book,
Judging each one who forsook.
So go practice self-control,
As you take care of your soul;
Keep your mind clear when you pray,
So you do not go astray.
Above all love each other,
Treating as sister and brother;
For love covers many sins,
And gone when new life begins.
God has given you a gift,
That will help you make the shift;
With being able to assist,
To all things that do exist.
Anytime that you might speak,
The Word of God you must seek;
As with Christ do not sever,
Your ties must be forever.
